If you're interested, there are some alleged "leaks" from 4chan that have been reported on. One story claimed that a private test screening went so poorly that people were trying to leave the screening before it was over, and they were begged to stay.

I wouldn't be surprised that during the next private screenings attandees will be chained to their chairs so Disney can claim that the movie was seen by a captivated audience during the test screenings

Children don't like Star Wars, they like Avengers because Avengers is actually entertaining. The Mandalorian is actually made with a more adult tone and everyone seems to enjoy it regardless of age. If Star Wars was only for children you wouldn't be here commenting on it, otherwise I'd see you commenting on Paw Patrol.

Dismissing someone's opinion by classifying Star Wars as a children film just shows how you have no real argument, otherwise no adult would be able to comment on Frozen 2 or any of the Pixar films. Be better.

I actually saw a documentary about the making of the original trilogy on BBC 4 today and it focused on how much the British ingenuity ,creativvity and craftsmanship influenced their success it kinda made me feel sad when thinking about the sequel movies.

Children also don't buy rare original figurines for $50,000 -$150,000 before that documentary there was a documentary about an English toy company Palitoy who made Star Wars toys who now are among the rarest collectibles

No I meant that despite the limited budgets at the time (especially in the case of the original Star Wars)the people who worked on Star Wars managed to pull off some awesome things and that the budget forced them to look for creative and cheap solutions and that throwing all the money of the World at a movie (like Disney does) doesn't equal quality or originality.Because it makes you ask questions like we could do that but is it wise to do so?

Oh stop picking on that. The Holiday special was just intended as a one shot cash in when it came out. No one expected an army of nerds to rise up and still be talking about it or Star Wars decades into the future. It is still more creative than the Disney retreads. RoS is going to be a who knows what. With all the tinkering and trying to appeal to too many different people and decisions made by too many people and too much marketing and second guessing it can't help but fail.

It is official the early reviews of ROS are bad ...really bad....even reviewers who defended the previous movies in the past say ROS is a dumpster fire.

That is not what I just saw don't know what propaganda you are reading but there was a live stream from several you tubers reading the live reaction on twitter after the premiere and it was bad really bad but don't take my word for it also it was confirmed that Brie Larson is in the movie as Ahsoka's force ghost and Han Solo is also back.
