Alin is a truck driver and he is having his last trip to Italy for the year, before he can return home for Christmas to his wife and son.

In 1977, Silvia Suppo was kidnapped and raped under the last Argentine civil-military dictatorship. As a consequence, she became pregnant, and the repressors performed an abortion on her "to correct the mistake." In 2009, her testimony was key to achieving the first conviction for crimes against humanity of a federal judge, Víctor Brusa, and his task force. Three months later, she was brutally murdered in her shop in Rafaela (Santa Fe / Argentina). Today her murder remains unpunished. This documentary reconstructs Silvia in the dimension of her woman, mother and friend, in her political character and in her sensitivity, so that we all know her cause. We seek a truth that does justice to her death and rescues her, above all, the value of her life.

Silvia looks dazzling in the old VHS footage of her wedding in the early 1980s—she's a beautiful woman about to embark on a promising future with a diplomat husband, and a comfortable house to live in. The home videos that follow show more highlights from her life: her first wedding anniversary, her daughters growing up, and the farewell party at the embassy. Meanwhile, the audio commentary offers a very different reality. The film's director María Silvia Esteve is the middle one of Silvia's daughters, and she and her siblings talk about their parents' gradual descent into a spiral of angry clashes, psychological problems and prescription drugs. By recounting events from their childhood, they try to get a handle on what went wrong in their family. And they wonder why their mother, with whom they had a very close relationship, never managed to improve the situation or leave their father.

After her 27th birthday, Silvia Prieto decides to take charge of her life and make some changes. At the same time, she suddenly finds herself intertwined in the life of another woman who is also named Silvia Prieto.

The mourning period takes Silvia, a 40-year-old woman, and her family by waves of memory, death, and survival.

Photographer Patricio Guzmán Campos has died in exile. Silvia edited his retrospective book a few years ago and after learning about Patricio's death, she sits down to read again the letters he sent her, in which he reveals the feelings and reflections provoked by facing his photography during the process of making the book, where he sees a place that has been taken away from him, but which he tries to hold on to through his memories.

Silvia, has decided to commit suicide and leave a video note saying that she wishes to donate her organs and save the lives of a few strangers.

Oliver and the much older photographer Hendrik are a couple. A rather contrasting couple: Hendrik has already achieved a lot in his life and is considered an 'old hand' in his profession. Oliver, on the other hand, is only at the beginning of his career as a photographer and has retained a childlike naivety and playfulness in his life plans. Oliver and the young Silvia meet at a photo session. It is immediately clear to the ambitious Silvia that Oliver is her springboard to a modeling career. That same evening, Hendrik proposes to Oliver. But Oliver makes an almost unfulfillable condition: He wants a child! Hendrik is completely at a loss. What should he do? Then Silvia bursts into his house. All she really wants is to be photographed by Oliver. But things turn out differently...
