This COULD be the most faithful videogame adaptation ever!
I just hope it isn't a watered down PG-13.
She looks anorexic in the trailer.
Body shaming is not cool, dude.
I'm sure she'll survive being "body shamed" by an obscure user on some random film site, and come on.... Does that child really look like Lara Croft to you?
Well, maybe she will get a bit rounder and fuller in the sequels (if film succeeds, it will get almost certain sequels!).

With the main protagonist being a shredded flat crossfit fanatic rather than a buxom soft beauty? Yeah, no.
Anticipate the enthusiasts for this franchise being divided along these very lines; T&A vs waifish
Well I realize the changed the model of LC with ROTTR to be more "inclusive" or something, but let's be honest the entire series selling point was a busty/curvy protagonist. Doesn't mean the movie will be bad.
Characters go thru incarnations as time passes. Happens all the time. Sometimes fans dont mind, sometimes they do. As for this current Croft I dont really mind. But after saying that, this film seems like its going to be a by the numbers action adventure film. I dotn really know how the public will take it. Could go Wonder Woman big or flop like other female lead films in the past. Time will tell.

Haha there is no way in hell this is going to be R. Thats just not going to happen, not in this market. Not to mention the other TR films are PG13.
Have you played the most recent games? They are violent and if this film tones down the violence it will have failed.
There are countless examples of the source material being violent and filled with sex. But than the film is watered down for the purpose of trying to get as many people to the cinema as possible. Happens almost every time. This looks like it will be no different. And if it is, Id be very surprised!

You've got two hopes. Unfortunately Bob died in 2003.
I didn't feel that (for once). I was grateful that they didn't feel the need to show us highlights from the trailer before the trailer, though.

@Gus Gorman When it comes to Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, I'm an Old School Angelina Jolie fan.

Looks good! Vikander is a good actress and should make for a good Lara.
They've got an interesting Into The Badlands reunion going on too.

Seriously hope you're trolling because last time I played TR, Lara wasn't a 14 y.o. boy.
