Robert Schlag, nicknamed "Beat", is a Berlin club promoter who lives for the excesses of sex, drugs and the city nightlife. His connections to the underworld lead the police to use Beat to try and infiltrate a notorious organ smuggling ring.

Each short episode is divided into two segments - The first part involves wordless slapstick comedy among four safari explorers which introduces an animal. The second part shows (another wordless) adventure of the animal previously seen.

Benny, who has remained behind, suffers greatly from these accusations and hopes one day to be able to unravel the mystery of his father's disappearance and that of the intars. He joins the "White Pegasus," a special unit to combat the Intars and fight together with them against the aliens in the human body. For this, they scale a spaceship down to microscopic size and infiltrate it into the infested body.

On the First Beat is a TVB modern action series broadcast in June 2007.
