The low budget Joker film is a hit. It made enough in its opening weekend to green-light a sequel.

They are talking Oscars, girl.
The gym has many things from the Cap. I don’t think HC knew the shield was in the pic or meant anything by it.
DJ, on the other hand, seems to be doing things consciously.

I read there are problems with Shazam on SHM a while back and posted about it on the Nomis thread. But I didn’t know about all DJ’s shenanigans. The SHM board gives me a headache sometimes. Now they’re talking about AG.
I thought they abandon the project because the second installment didn’t make enough money. Apparently, it cost $293 mln and made only $703 mln.
The geeks are beyond happy with this new narrative. So HC can sleep soundly. He has the full support of the geek community if he decides to play CapB. I don’t care what he plays. He has my support. Although, it would be hotter if he was a super villain in MCU-4. A bad Nick Fury but with super powers.

I love it when geeks and haters make mountains out of molehills.
DJ should stop with this schoolyard BH behavior. As a man, if you’ve got something to say, say it. He reminds me of that idiot (MB) who used to train HC. These men have big muscles, but obviously no balls.
They talk about everything. I just learned that Deadpool 3 may not happen. RR wants to keep it rated R, but Disney doesn’t want that. Also, HBO ended Ballers after 5 seasons. S1 started with 2.19 mil viewers while S5 ended with only 0.46 mil. The ratings kept going down. The third season had only 0.99 mil viewers.
As long as he has no beard or stache. August Walker would have been so much hotter without a stache.
HQ seems to have more clothes on than golden WW.

I said that. Some others said the same or something similar. But he’s a likeable BH bear.
Speaking of DJ… Let’s discuss something calmly without all the know-it-all drama geeks. I heard that “Red Notice” (RN) would be a Netflix film, but I didn’t know why. But according to the geeks, Universal got cold feet. The movie has a $150 mln PB tag and DJ’s popularity isn’t as it used to be. Ballers ratings went gradually down the crapper each season and Skyscraper flopped ($125 mln PB vs $300 mln BO). Even Rampage they say has fallen below expectations. Maybe. But it sure didn’t flop ($120 mln PB vs $428 mln BO).
So the geeks say that about Rampage, but they think H&S ($200 mln PB vs $758 mln BO) would have made a difference. How? If Rampage, which made 3.5x its PB, fell below expectations, then so does H&S with a 3.7x. Also, Rampage and H&S made respectively 84% and 87% of their PB in the US. The gap isn’t big enough to make a difference.
That said, I don’t see the problem with RN going from studio to streaming. Going from big screen to small screen or from studio to streaming is a step back if they pay you less or if the quality of the project diminish. But that’s not the case. RN’s PB remains $150 mln. And that makes it the most expensive project to date to go from studio to streaming. They ignore that. There’s no step back. I also don’t think that BR took a step back by playing SM in the Arowverse. He took a step back when he decided to go from big screen to small screen for peanuts.
According to the geeks, WB pays TV actors peanuts. They say that Stephen Amel from “Green Arrow” gets $125k p/ep and he’s been the lead of that show and universe for eight years. OK. So I doubt BR gets a bigger pay check than him. But that doesn’t matter. BR didn’t take any step back, because, before they asked him, he was already a TV actor and he was already getting peanuts p/ep. And we shouldn’t forget that he’s already working for WB and already part of the Arowverse. All that is ignored.

Perhaps Routh had a bigger pay check than Amell, because he had a “quote.” He was Superman on the big screen. Amell had nothing when he started. He had to tolerate a lot. You can read his story in this article.
Warner Bros. TV is also arrogant. Rosenbaum, like Amell, had unpleasant experiences while making Smallville and when he was asked to join the Infinite crossover.
Studios tend to abuse and or misuse their power. You can tolerate what they do when you really need a job. But if you can get another job, then bid them adieu.

SA and Grant Gustin (The Flash) are the only ones on the highest-paid list. SA gets $125k p/ep and GGn $100k. So maybe BR’s starting salary was higher than SA’s starting salary. From what I could gather, Legends of Tomorrow (LOT) isn’t as popular as Arrow.
But speaking of highest-paid lists… JM is the lead in See, a big budget ($15 mln p/ep) series, but he’s not mentioned on any highest-paid list. Nowadays, you must let everybody know you’re going back to the small screen for gold, not peanuts. And streaming services want everybody and their pets to know how much it cost them to make one episode of their highly anticipated original shows. So what’s up with JM? Did they spend all that money on battles?
I heard. And I was about to say that I won’t be surprised if BR was forced to play SM. That was before some geeks told me to look on the LOT thread. My jaw literally dropped.
I had no idea. Well, I might be wrong about him being forced to play SM. He was happy to announce the news.
A month later (August 22) he suddenly heard that they are writing his character off. According to the geeks, playing SM again was a farewell present.

Now that Thor, CapA and WinterS are gone, the level of male hotness in the MCU has dropped below what’s socially acceptable for a superhero verse. If you want to lure the ladies in, you need to fill the cookie jar back. No cookie on screen, no booty in seat.
But fear not, ladies, for HC shall bring hotness back to the MCU. Behold MCU’s Captain Britain.
PS ApexForm
Tolerate? Many did that and now we have #metoo and #timesup.
The haters kept this info well hidden. The LOT thread is buried on page 31.
I’ll surely miss the posts about how much WB likes BR and that’s why they asked or begged him to play SM again. WB likes BR bc he does what they want and doesn’t demand like HC. WB hates HC and that’s why they included BR in the crossover and not him. WB hates HC so much that they won’t let him play SM in the new SM series either.
Please, get freaking real. The highest-paid star on those tacky shows gets $125K p/ep. And that’s for season 7, not season 1. If HC accepts a TV role for that amount, the same haters will say he’s desperate for work. His career is over bc he accepted a role on a tacky TV show for peanuts. Btw, the crossover is meant for past and new TV superheroes. And why wouldn’t they let the current Arrowverse SM play SM in the new Superman & Lois series in the Arrowverse?

More like a gift to soften the blow. He was happy. They give him his dream role, let him think everything was fine and then sucker punched him a month later.
Very nice. A good reason to find out more about this Captain Britain.
