I am new to this database. Has there been any discussion about titles being consistent?
Especially when it comes to collections like Star Wars⦠Some have Episodes in the titles and some do not:Can't find a movie or TV show? Login to create it.

There has been lots of discussion. But, I don't think they're gonna change. Try to do a quick search on the forums/and of google with site:themoviedb.com/talk and you're bound to see a couple of hundred hits! :-P
(original movie titles don't change anyway, any "change" is an update >> alternative)

Thanks for the lightening fast response,,, wow. If the moderator is telling me things can't be changed,,, then I won't waste anymore time on it.

Well, I've never actually much bothered to participate in the Star Wars discussions, but they never seem to entirely go away. But, after years and years, the titles haven't changed, which makes me think they're going to.
Don't let it discourage you from contributing other stuff to the database :) Star Wars titles are just pretty much a said and done subject.

Whoever is in charge of adding these titles to the database,,, their model is really unsophisticated. Titles should be subject to naming conventions, and one of the most obvious rules should be consistency within collections and series. Not really sure where to go with thisβ¦

Sorry :( But if you want them changed for you media center/library, maybe you can use .nfo files.
Look at some of these older discussions, just from the reports section;
