Ok, so she's spent the last year obsessed w Valentin and his nefariousness. So, she gets rid of one obsession, and then turns to the other, and swallows his rather easily seen thru BS about a daughter- as if the WSB could not track down this child?

Twins? A girl & a boy? Maybe it will turn out that Henrick/Peter & Nina are twins?

I did think that she should have been able to see through Valentin's bluff, pretending to know a lot more than he really did just to see how she reacted. She is, after all, trained in intelligence, espionage, and skilled in the art of the interrogation. She ought to be able to detect when someone is feeding her a line of bull.

Negative. The episode made it clear that Valentin was lying about her giving birth to a daughter when he called Peter August, indicating that they had concocted this story to throw Anna off Peter's trail. Valentin's entire story was probably a lie, he probably found out that Anna and Faison had a child together from Peter. Peter has probably always known that Anna is his mother.

Well auto, it isn't any more ridiculous than any of the other story lines airing now.

When did I say that anything is ridiculous? I simply said that your theory of twins has no support because Valentin was revealed to have been lying. At any rate, if Anna remembers giving birth I th8nk she would remember giving birth to twins.

Viki Buchanan on One Life to Live didn't.
Susan Moore apparently didn't either.

Most of the time yes. However, when someone is emotionally distraught, panicked and desperate for information, they will simply not be operating at 100 percent... As well trained as she might be, people are still only human and can be deceived...

I'm fully expecting her to interrupt Nathan's funeral tomorrow by demanding to know where Henrik is right now. She is completely out of her mind.

Oh good. I was starting to think Peter August was a tranny. He is very slender.

Anna must have known for certain that she gave birth to a boy. No matter how distraught a mother is, aren't they always told by the midwife the gender of the baby and whether or not it's healthy? Anna must have been lucid when she gave birth because she wasn't in a hospital, and wouldn't have been given an epidural. The details of that experience would have been etched in her mind. There's no way Anna should believed Valentin when he told her she gave birth to a girl.
Anna needs a long rest. She needs to vacation on an island for a couple of months. Viewers need a rest from Anna. Her behavior has become more than overbearing and obsessed, it's become obnoxious and difficult to watch.

Uhhh...Susan Moore did know, which is why she gave Andrew to Heather, who gave him to Betsy Frank.

At any rate, speculation of twins is pointless because we know that Valentin was lying when he said that Anna gave birth to a girl. We know this because immediately after Anna left, Valentin called Peter August and told him, in essence 'well, we fooled her, she thinks she gave birth to a girl, therefore she doesn't know that you're her son with Faison.' Granted, that isn't what Valentin said, but it is clearly what he was implying.
