At any rate, speculation of twins is pointless because we know that Valentin was lying when he said that Anna gave birth to a girl. We know this because immediately after Anna left, Valentin called Peter August and told him, in essence 'well, we fooled her, she thinks she gave birth to a girl, therefore she doesn't know that you're her son with Faison.' Granted, that isn't what Valentin said, but it is clearly what he was implying.

Did you just assume Peter’s gender?

Doctors and midwives don't tell the gender of a child, but the sex. Gender is a made up term w no scientific bearing.

No, he was referring to Peter's sex, which is biologically determined. Gender is whatever someone wants to claim about themself, like whether one is a chocoholic.
