This show is nothing more than a somewhat interesting Sci-Fi-fi flick. It's definitely not Star Trek. Thumbs down to CBS for messing up the Star Trek universe with a show like this.

ST has ALWAYS been about a single character. Indeed DSC is much less so that TOS, TNG or VOY. You can not see this because you CAN'T identify with the single lead character this time. There are many more varied interesting characters in DSC first 3 seasons than ALL the rest of ST combined. No doubt when SNW airs there will be ZERO concern about Pike resolving all the issues! It is amazing how scared little white boys are of simple the IDEA of a powerful black female!!! I know that black females kicked your asses all the way in the recent Olympics but MB is NOT real...calm down!

ST from it's conception NEVER WAS and NEVER HAS BEEN about one character TOS always revolved around the main three but even the supporting cast got their moments in various episodes .TNG in fact had actually far more stories revolving around the supporting cast than Captain Picard.With DS9 they did a more balanced approach basically because Sisko was a far more interesting character than Picard. With VOY most of the episodes revolved around the supporting cast than it was about Janeway alone And with ENT they tried to go back to the concept of a "main three" but still they allowed for episodes that focused on other supporting cast members. So nice try but again you are wrong and it still doesn't make STD a good series and it all comes down to fact that the actress who is supposed to be the lead lacks the acting versatility and depth to take on such a responsibility .But that's what you get when representation is favored above experience,talent and quality.

As for SNW well you haven't read the latest comments about that I suppose? but I have turned from being mildly optimistic about it's chances of being a good series into pessimism since the trailer showed us the same shit we got in STD and STP so no Anson Mount alone cannot sway us to view SNW in a positive light if they continue to give us the same shit as they did with STD or STP so your point about sexism or racism has no merit. And you seem to forget that a lot of women and POC(who use to love Star Trek) hate modern Trek as well so what are they then ,since they can't be wrong judging from your own logic since not agreeing with them would be sexist or racist? .Where did we say that you can't have powerful black females or where did we say that in various sports and trades POC can't be better than whites ? Did you get brain rot from getting too much Critical Race Theory ?? you know it's called THEORY because it hasn't got any basis in scientific or historical FACT .Or did the hypocrisy of the last year eluded you that Hollywood promotes females of POC as long as they sing a long the the tune of cult if they express their own views or something that is anything other than the cult approved narrative they get fired and canceled.(Like Gina Carano for example).Hollywood uses those minorities as a gimmick and window dressing to appease a very small but loud group on Twitter who most of time claim to speak for those minorities when in fact most people belonging to these minority groups don' t want anything to do with these Twitter idiots because they are destroying all the good will they had build up until the moment these overzealous SJW's started to interfere with their lives.
