As listed on the official page, this is a 3 parts only miniseries. There are no part 4 in the initial broadcast.

Sorry, but this is not correct. I have the oficial bluray and here are 4 episodes. On IMDb it is shown correctly. And see please by Amazon Please added Episode 4.

As you can see here, the 4 parts have been made later for the DVD (and is apparently used also by Amazon Prime).
Here, we only list the original version.

OK and a re-cut is not an oficial version??? Please, then you have to make two entries for Doctor Thorne. Once as a three-part drama and then also as a four-part drama. What is the problem here?

This is against the rules of our site. We always list only the first broadcast version. I quote : "Our main goal is to reproduce the seasons exactly as they first aired on the original network."

Rules are always good. But the world has moved on since 2008. Does TMDb really want to be worse than IMDb? Rules can also be adjusted. But it would also be important to reproduce the seasons exactly as they were released on disc. TMDB is not TVDB, or is it?
