I could argue that one piece does not have seasons either. Still yet it is divided. Animes of the last didn't have seasonal formats and used fillers as place holders from time to time. Of late, tv productions have shifted to how animes are released. So I could argue that that bleach is incorrectly listed. Other databases have slit the episodes into seasons as eastern TV series tend to be seasonal.

In addition, Naruto is a perfect example as Naruto and bleach began airing around the same time. Naruto is split into seasons on this database website. Naruto's continuation (Shippuden) was not listed as season 2. Instead it was listed as another Series with it's own seasons. If listing Bleach TYBW as season 17 is an issue then I suggest listing it own anime just like how Naruto Shippuden was handled. Bleach TYBW will be split into several cores. Bleach TYBW is Not season 2 of bleach. Listing it as season 2 is nonsensical.

One Piece and Naruto are on our list of anime where the seasons need to be merged. This will be done by the administrator at a later date, not yet defined. This is clearly indicated in the content reports of these series.

I've read your rules in addition to review some of the prior comments on this matter. However, your stance on this matter is still misguided and your rules for indexing animes are still nonsensical. For instance you mentioned AniDB. With AniDB, Mal and the other Anime databases all seasons or Series are indexed separately. The idea of you indexing Bleach TYBW as season 2 makes no sense and it totally goes against the norm. You also mentioned that information from other websites aren't official. My question to that is what makes your way the correct way of indexing animes and What official sources can you provide declaring that this should be the way? All other databases does otherwise. Who's bright idea was it to change this. It's a rookie move.

Merging is just an absolute cluster F ...
Why would you allow them to be separated into seasons for decades then just turn around and merge them all
Anime: "Bleach: Sennen Kessen Hen" is a *Sequel !!! *
lots of viewers do not watch episodes on release but will watch Seasons at a time
if anything they should be divided into their box sets / arcs
nobody wants to see a list of hundreds of episodes being displayed
or are you just going to go around merging , you need a way to separate your viewing sessions
Sazae-San: 7,920 Episodes. Nintama Rantaro: 2,321 Episodes. ... Ojarumaru: 1,947 Episodes. ... Doraemon: 1,787 Episodes. ... Soreike Anpanman!: 1,615 Episodes. ... Manga Nippon Mukashi Banashi: 1,471 Episodes. ... Hoka Hoka Kazoku: 1,428 Episodes. ... Chibi Maruko-Chan: 1,359 Episodes

Bleach wasn't split in multiple seasons during its original Japanese broadcast.
If you want it split by story arcs, you can use episode groups.
