To Jet:

One could attribute Calabrian Queen’s illogic “aggression” to the negative effect apparently full moons full_moon have on some people or maybe he reacts to what he considers an intrusion (of a new poster)in "his territory" /the BBT board.

What ever the case be ,best to stay in familiar "territory " among friends . Just remember you're _ important to this board .... to us_, Jet rose

This game you mentioned seems fun ..so I thought why not play a TOS version.
I copy and pasted the rules.

The idea is to say something “about the show” in exactly six words (“about the show” meaning: anyone/anything in any connection.)

Three Simple Rules:

a. Emojis count as a word.

b. Hyphenated words count individually.

c. Contractions count as one word.

I’ll break the ice :

Kirk, Spock, and Bones are awesome.

When it comes to writing things down, hard to beat this:

It’s not a competition, Knix. It’s about doing something** I** enjoy.

Anyways thanks for taking interest and for sending such a truthful song..

The singer is encouraging her younger brother to step out and live life to the fullest ..there is nothing more intense (and educational) than personal experience ....and with personal experiences comes maturity and a better understanding of the people and the world we live in .

For now , it makes me happy to put in words a specific emotion , moment or thought ..that way I 've “saved” it for ever and ,maybe one day , if a friend reads them , they might even make her smile.

I also see it as a challenge ..expressing an idea in less words possible , keeping , of course , in rhyme .

@That's 7, hyphenated words count separately. (That's also 6 words!)

@ to Knixon:

Honestly , I hadn't even notice 😳....is that all you are going to contribute to this thread , Knixon?

Thank you Sunshine ,now you are noticing what Jet and I have to deal with sometimes.

I know Jet . It's very frustrating but I haven't given up on Knixon yet. Just like Rey :"I sense there is hope , still light to be found "

To quote Obi Wan; " He's more machine now than man. Twisted and evil." grin

Riley sings "Kathleen" one more time.

Christine has the hots for spock

Don't destroy the one named Kirk.

Horta is a bad mamma jamma!

Those destroyed shuttlecraft are not cheap.

Scotty is a 23rd century MacGyver.

Sulu's rapier seems to be drooping.

Chekov is also known as Chee-koof

Spock and Adam are jamming together

You've got a hard lip, Herbert

Charles Napier actually wrote Adam's songs. (No kidding)

Landru started a really wierd cult.

Arex plays wicked Three Card Monty.

I liked that it rhymed but I didn't get why you wrote "bad " seeing it was obvious the Horta loved her eggs /babies and she protected them with her life..

So I thought I would punch in the line "bad mamma , jamma " (I'm the curious type) and see what happened

....okay it's a song about a sexy woman ..

Personally I would still have written "good " instead of "bad " ...And yes the song still pops you if you punch in the line "good mamma jamma.

But of course it's your idea so you have the last word.

Anyways , the idea was cool.

I finally got the last word!

Don't believe in no-win scenarios .

Careful when Uhura handles a knife.

"bad" as in "bad mamma jamma" doesn't mean "evil" etc. Like when someone is described as a "mad mofo." It means strong, powerful, fearless, vicious if necessary... It's like when they're talking about Shaft. In case you never heard the song:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEaRCAcfOEQ

"They say this cat Shaft is a bad mother..." "Shut your mouth!" "I'm talking about Shaft!"

Once again, "bad" doesn't mean defective, underperforming... It's just the opposite.

Maybe people in other countries and/or for whom American English is not natural, don't understand that.

(And, "cat" doesn't mean he's a feline, either. Nor did he actually have relations with his mother.)

Janos Prohaska played lots of creatures.

@ to Knixon:

I didn't take "bad" as meaning "evil" but rather that messing around with such a hot sexy chick will only cause you a lot of trouble ( negative , bad things) .

Thanks for the explanation, though .

On the other hand:

"They say this cat Shaft is a bad mother..." "Shut your mouth!" "I'm talking about Shaft!"

@I have never seen the series but I always though ...Shaft ...was a man .😆 Thanks for putting matters straight.

the music sounds similar to the opening soundtrack in the "Starsky and Hutch " series.

The Shaft theme features an electric guitar with a "wah wah" pedal. S&H's uses a "talk-box" which has a tube that the guitarist actually puts his mouth on to get the "weor weor" effect.

Sometimes it's hard to tell how much you really know, versus how much you're joking about.

Shaft was a movie. And "Bad mother..." was interrupted before getting to the F word.

Yes, Shaft was a man. John Shaft.
