Discuss Twin Peaks

That song "No Stars" by Rebekah Del Rio is pretty damn haunting. It was beautiful, almost a perfect dream like way to end that episode which was pretty violent and confronting (the violence Richard does off screen when he's at the trailer, I always find it disconcerting when you hear actual domestic violence rather than being confronted it with visually, adds to the helplessness).

That scene with Richard and his grandmother, I'm almost glad that we saw the damage being done from a character standpoint. We already knew he was a beast and that scene just added even more to it because know we can see what he's capable of when he's not under the influence of drugs. It was a lot to soak up.

That song though, just a perfect way to wrap it all up for the week.

IMHO the best musical ending ever was in an episode of The X-Files. Season 5 Episode 5 - The Post-Modern Prometheus. A somewhat fun and quirky episode, that in my mind you put near the end of Season 7 and it finishes the X-Files perfectly. When I get around to watching this season of Twin Peaks I'll keep an eye out for this episode. I'm glad you got something as heart warming from this episode as I do from my X-Files episode! :-D

It was dreamy. I swear I could see a resemblance between Rebekah and Sheryl Lee sometimes. Especially around the eyes. I'm definitely going to add her to my playlist now.

That's the girl that was singing "Crying" in the Theater of Silence scene in Muholland Drive right?

Did I detect a bit of autotune on that track?
