Why do you consider this (and the other ones you have reported) as incorrect ?

Hi Superboy97,
Many of these are DVD "extras" and not released "specials". Per the content rules at https://www.themoviedb.org/bible/new_content/59f792cd9251413e93000004#59f7933c9251413e93000005 , my understanding is that "Extra DVD material" is not allowed in the database under "Not Supported" - "Extra DVD material"
Also, the additions of these "DVD extras" are causing episode number discrepancies with TheTVDB causing Plex metadata to display improperly.
Thanks

The rules you are quoting are referencing are for the movies part of our database.
For the special seasons of series, the rules are here and explicitely indicate "Some DVD bonus content is allowed.".
No rules specify that the special episodes should be numbered the same way here and on TVDB/ Each site has its own set of rules.
So, I'm going to hide your other similar reports.

Can suggest moving all the dvd extras later than episode 9 of the specials to avoid the data conflicts? That way the content is available still in the database but those who want it and for those of us who had it in plex prior to the additions this year (when it matched TvDB) our libraries are still accurate?

As indicated above : No rules specify that the special episodes should be numbered the same way here and on TVDB/ Each site has its own set of rules.
There are users that have their database organised based on the episodes as they are currently listed.

I understand, that's actually what initiated the changes. There were reports on the Plex forums that users thought there was a metadata bug because recently users noticed that their "special" season for Supernatural had updated with incorrect data, and user SwiftPanda16 (the developer of Tautulli) noted that the episode metadata here on TheMovieDB had been updated but was incorrectly linked to entries on TheTVDB (via the external ID).
If you check the history on Special Episode 2, it previously matched TheTVDB and it looks like in June 2023, TMDB user Kibakins modified the episode order/metadata when they added all the DVD extra features as episodes. User JonnyWong16 corrected this issue for the entry on 8/31, and I'm suggesting reverting TMDB user Kibakins modifications to other pre-existing episodes, and moving any new additions to later episodes.
That way, those of us who had correct metadata in our libraries prior to June 2023 (which matched TheTVDB) are accurate. Is it more important to respect recent library additions, or those that have existed and been in place longer? I don't know the answer to that, that's why we have you MODS :)
Thanks for all your help, and if you say to leave it as is, I understand. Appreciate it.

There are no reasons to remove the DVD extras recently added. As indicated, no rules specify that the special episode numbers should be the same in the 2 databases.
If there are some TVDB Id that are missing in episodes that are present in the 2 databases (not necessarily with the same number), feel free to add them.
