קומדיית מצבים, המגוללת את סיפורם של ארבעה חייזרים שנשלחו לכדור הארץ למשימה שבה הם צריכים לחקור את המין האנושי. הסדרה היא אחת הסדרות הפופולריות ביותר ששודרו בשנות ה-90. בישראל שודרה הסדרה בערוץ 3 מתחילתה ועד סיומה בשנת 2001 ובשידורים חוזרים בסטאר וורלד. הסדרה זכתה במספר הרב ביותר של פרסי אמי לשנת 1997 (5 מתוך 8) ואף הייתה מועמדת לפרס עוד מספר פעמים מאוחר יותר. השחקן ג'ון לית'גאו היה מועמד לפרס האמי בכל שנה בה הסדרה שודרה ואף זכה בו בשנים 1996, 1997 ו־1999.
