Walt ist auf der Suche nach einem Mädchen namens Jill, das von Zuhause weggelaufen ist und bittet Johnny um Hilfe. Die beiden stöbern die Ausreißerin samt ihrem Freund in einer Lagerhalle auf, die eine geheime Drogenfabrik ist. Während der Flucht löst Jills Freund Scott einen Brand aus. Johnny bekommt dadurch ein hohe Dosis giftiger Dämpfe ab. Er hat merkwürdige Visionen und kann nicht mehr zwischen Realität und Wahn unterscheiden.

Mientras ayuda en la búsqueda de Jill, una joven fugitiva que toma drogas habitualmente, Johnny se encuentra expuesto a los efectos de los estupefacientes y empieza a tener visiones más extrañas que las que tiene habitualmente. Aunque Bruce y Sarah le aconsejan que no lo haga, Johnny insiste en seguir buscando a Jill. Por lo visto, el novio de la chica tenía problemas con su camello y había sido asesinado, un hecho que deja a Jill totalmente indefensa.

Malgré les conseils de Bruce et de Sarah, Johnny est déterminé à retrouver jill qui court un grave danger...

A rajtaütés azonban kevéssé sikeres: a kábító hatású gyógyszerekkel pepecselő három tinédzser egérutat nyer, Johnny viszont ájultan marad a helyszínen, mivel belélegezte a kiömlött "házi" drogkészítményt. A narkotikum furcsa hatással van az amúgy is különleges holtsávra: Johnny egyre nehezebben tudja elkülöníteni a látomásokat a valóságtól. Tudja, hogy a lány élete veszélyben forog, ezért a nyomába ered, de közben saját paranoiás rohamaival és fantomképeivel is meg kell küzdenie.

While helping to track down a runaway, Jill, who is involved with drugs, Johnny is exposed to a drug that causes him to start getting weird (weirder than usual) visions. He insists on trying to find Jill, despite the concerns of Bruce and Sarah. Confusing matters further is that Jill's boyfriend is in trouble with his supplier. The boyfriend gets killed and Jill and Johnny go on the run. In the final showdown, Johnny manages to fight past his hallucinations and knock the drug dealer off a high ledge, while Jill is reunited with her mother.
