Discuss Sons of Anarchy

As the title suggests, what do you think is the best moment of the show?

Mine has to be Opie killing Stahl. Absolutely hated her, she was the one responsible for Donna's death, a death that Opie never recovered from. He executed Stahl in the same manner that Donna died. Unlike Weston, who accepted his fate and even asked Jax not to do it in front of his kid, Stahl was crying and begging Opie not to do it. "This is what she felt." Then unloads bullets into the back of her skull. In my opinion, the most satisfying moment of the show.

I was going to say that when I read the discussion title. Yeah, Stahl was a despicable human, deserving of the justice she received. It is typical of such awful sorts of people that they break down and beg for mercy when faced with having to pay the piper. When Opie told her "put your hands on the wheel" she knew exactly what was about to happen. He repeated it and she finally complied. She suffered because she had to anticipate her fate, knowing her death was imminent, and she had no power to stop it.

Spot on. She was beyond despicable, justice was definitely served in the Season 3 finale.

My next favorite moment would have to be Juice's confession to Jax about Tara's murder. Though I must admit that the 7th season wasn't that great, this moment is definitely one of the best in the entire series. Juice accepted his fate and knew he would die soon, it was beyond heartbreaking seeing tears streaming down his face as he was describing to Jax how Tara was murdered and how he helped Gemma. Jax was just a complete wreck, you can just feel his pain and grief. I was amazed by Charlie Hunnam and Theo Rossi in this moment.

Yeah that was a great scene, very well acted. That was super acting, very realistic. Juice thought for a moment that he had redeemed himself, and that he had a path to get back into good standing with the club possibly. The next minute he knew he was going to die. As you said he accepted his fate, very bravely I thought. It was a let down, but also a relief in a way I thought. He had lived with that crushing guilt for so long. He wanted nothing more than to belong to the club. Yeah, they both acted their parts perfectly.

The whole last 10 minutes of that episode might be some of the best television I've ever seen. Starting with the song, "Hey Hey, My My" by Battleme still giving me the chills when I hear it. Starting with that smug-ass Stall telling Clay and the Club "Cause your VP made a deal", to everyone losing it on Jax, to the absolute epic scene, first with Chibs and Jimmy, then Opie's long awaited revenge. Unser, of course, his usual awesome self, to finally the crew breaking out in laughter when they hear the prospects beeping their horns in a "Job's done" fashion. Like I said, maybe the best 10 minutes of TV I've ever witnessed.

I think I cried from the opening scene of the last episode up until a day later. Heartbreaking. Hunnam did a phenomenal job. I just watched the whole series in June of 2017. Don't know how I missed it when it was on TV. I will have to watch the whole series again.

Awww. I liked Stahl. Sure she was batshit crazy evil, but she was fun to watch.

Not sure what is meant by best, but there sure were a lot of shocking moments. Tara's murder was one of the worst. And I didn't even like Tara! LOL

Dunno about the best moment, but Winter Ave Zolli and that other chick making out on the set of a porno in S3 warrants special mention

I'm pretty sure you already gave it special attention. Did you try to order a copy of Cocks & Bagels?
