Bobba Fett is a cool character to look at and as a secondary. Like most everything else in Star Wars though, there's not much there there, when one tries to expand upon it

Very true.

When looked at with a critical eye Boba Fett is a failed bounty hunter (Darth Vader did most of the work for his biggest capture) with a cool outfit.

It's regrettable that the creators didn't give this Wookie the power of speech, then enlist The voice talents of Sam Jackson. His strength as an actor has always been in portraying combustible and morally grey characters, and he was gravely miscast as the staid Mace Windu in those damned prequels
