Hi,
First, thanks to the maintainers are the community for a great service.
Two Louis C.K. specials are not mentioned here and appear to have been deleted (why?):
I would add them myself to contribute, but it appears they have been deleted and one discussion was hidden.
Here are some related tickets:
These are listed on IMDB:
Note that "Back to the Garden" is here: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/1123702-louis-c-k-back-to-the-garden And also considered a "TV Special": https://www.imdb.com/title/tt26598133/ by IMDB.
I understand he is a controversial figure, but it's hard to see this as anything, but a gap in the database. Dave Chappelle is also fairly controversial yet still has his specials.
No big deal, but I'm just curious as to why this choice was made. Thank you!

I tried adding multiple Louis C.K. releases, but had them deleted. When asked why, I got the following:
This title did not meet our new content guidelines. If you have any questions about this deletion, feel free to reply to this message.

I would like to know why this and Louis C.K. - Sorry was deleted. I swear I read through all the criteria and thought it may be because "video" was not the type specified, but I double-checked that I would like to contribute, but the lack of feedback when something isn't acceptable makes this very difficult

Louis C.K specials: Lacks a professional release (no distribution). They were self-released.
Tibbs
Ok, I understand. Seems arbitrary, however, as they are professionally filmed, directed, etc Distribution is via the internet, digitally. That doesn't count? How is this different? https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/1123702-louis-c-k-back-to-the-garden, https://louisck.com/collections/louis-ck-back-to-the-garden Or https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/321594-louis-c-k-live-at-the-comedy-store, https://louisck.com/collections/live-at-the-comedy-store Or one for which you are a contributor: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/80379-louis-c-k-live-at-the-beacon-theater

Louis C.K.: Live at The Comedy Store was on Netflix for many years, maybe still up? https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/80379-louis-c-k-live-at-the-beacon-theater/edit?active_nav_item=release_information (FX TV release). Back to the Garden now deleted. It's still possible that some of the recent stuff eventually get a qualifying release, but we'll see...

I see. If not on a TV or streaming service, it's discounted Still seems counter-productive Thanks for taking the time to explain so I didn't keep trying

Ok, take care.
Live at the Beacon Theatre specifically says "and only available for purchase online", but is still available. (https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/80379-louis-c-k-live-at-the-beacon-theater) Is this only because you can buy a digital DVD instead of only a digital download?

Thank you so much for your work, Tibbs.
Indeed, this feels counter-productive to TMDB's goals compared to IMDB. https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/872209-shane-gillis-live-in-austin https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/1043678-ari-shaffir-jew These were published by YouTube, as are many modern specials. If this was enforced evenly, a significant portion of modern stand up wouldn't show up.
Where is there a link to saying self-publishing on such a scale is not valid? https://www.themoviedb.org/bible/search?query=distribution https://www.themoviedb.org/bible/search?query=professional+release
https://www.themoviedb.org/bible/new_content/59f792cd9251413e93000004#59f7933c9251413e9300000b It certainly isn't amateur so that does not apply.
@lineker, could you please provide a link?

This definitely feels like a moderator just has a grudge against Louis.
