I started this project back in February of last year(!) and was pulled off of it for over half of 2019, so after an entirely too long dev cycle, I am pretty stoked to let you guys know about this.
If I was to zero in on what makes v5 so much better than v4, it's that it's all about density and consistency. I spent a lot of time making things consistent across all media types and pages. Everything finally feels like it's a lot more at home and where it belongs. This is also a design that can scale with some of the new data we plan to start incorporating over the next few years.
While it is mostly feature complete, I am aware of a few lingering issues. They are as follows:
If you see something that is clearly wrong, by all means feel free to mention it below. I need more eyes on this, so just use it as you see fit and I'll be spending the next few weeks wrapping everything up.
My goal is to have this launched in production sometime in the next few weeks.
Thanks as always!
Update on March 27: v5 is now live on production!! This has been the longest and hardest thing I have ever pulled off in the past 11 years building TMDb. Of course there's still work to be done, and we're not stopping here but I'm taking a breather for the weekend. Hope everyone is staying safe out there, feel free to reply to this thread with issues if they crop up. Thanks as always.

Yes but you can't land on that page if you are not logged in

The dropdown has been fixed, but I see there's still one small issue going between movies and TV. I will get that fixed. This issue aside, account pages are in a lot better shape.
I will see about adding a dedicated page for production info. It may or may not make it for the official v5 launch this is a key design consideration of v5. It easily allows for new data like this to be given proper pages, so adding it is no problem.

Hello,
On the page https://v5.themoviedb.org/tv/61576-mongeville/season/1 (season 1 pf the French series "Mongeville"), the top left link to go to the previous season say "Épisodes spéciaux" which is correct. But the bottom left link for the same thing say "translation missing: fr-FR.Épisodes spéciaux".
On the same page of the main site https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/61576-mongeville/season/1?language=fr-FR the top left link say "Specials" and the bottom left link say "Épisodes spéciaux".
My language setting is fr-FR without alternative language.

My language setting is set ti fr-FR without alternative language.
But, I'm viewing a collection in English : https://v5.themoviedb.org/collection/293981-flowers-in-the-attic-collection?language=en-US . When I click on a movie of the collection, the site forgot that I'm currently viewing in English and display the movie page in French : https://v5.themoviedb.org/movie/333658 . The kanguage information is not kept in the URL. This is working fine on the normal site.
The problem is the same while going from one movie to another using the search.

On the season pages, the following buttons are missing:
- History button: At the series level, we can only see that something have been done to a season. But, without history at the season level, we can't see what it is.

If you click the "Overview" item in the menu, both items are present. See here as an example.

Hello again,
In French, the ad message located below the top image on the movie pages say "Disponible à la locatino ou l'achat". It should say "Disponible à la location ou l'achat".

@superboy97 You can correct most of the site translations on this localization project (it may take some time for your changes to show on the TMDb).

I see, maybe this is a text provided by Just Watch, so it can't be corrected on our end

Main page is kinda broken in v5 for Slovak language, shows "This panel didn't return any results. Try refreshing it." for What's Popular/Free To Watch/Latest Trailers.
Otherwise excelent work! Thank you :)

I believe the key you're looking for is here: https://app.localeapp.com/projects/8267/translations/6748312
I'll take a look, I already have a task to remove panels that don't have content in your region (Free To Watch) but "What's Popular" and "Latest Trailers" should be showing.
