I hadn't used any of the message boards since last Saturday, then went on to a few tonight and quickly noticed that something's now very different than ever before, in a not-good way. It significantly handicaps navigation.
Until now, it's always been that when you're in a specific Movie/TV/Celebrity discussion thread, the title/name of whatever the movie, show, or person is appears over top the thread. However now, just "Discuss → General" appears up there, instead of (for example) Discuss → Movie → North by Northwest. Furthermore, until now, you could always, in the long column that appears to the left of a thread, see and click on that particular movie or t.v. show title, or the celebrity's name, and immediately be on that title's or person's overview or profile page, like you were a minute or two earlier. Now, solely "Back" and "My Profile" are accessible over to the left - and neither thing is of any usefulness, whatsoever ("Back" simply takes you to - no matter what page you last were on - "Discuss → General"), for accessing either the overview/profile in question nor enabling us to see and access other discussion threads for the same movie/show/celebrity, or even simply be able to click on the "Movie" tab to take us to other (about whatever other titles) same-forum Movie/TV/Celebrity discussions. Discuss → General is everything, collectively, from any forum category - including stuff on the Support forum (its General category).
Using the example of the thread that at the moment happens to be the newest one with activity on the Movies discussion forum, you can see what all I'm referring to: https://www.themoviedb.org/discuss/58ce48369251415a7d01e93b
Try any other discussion thread, and it's always the exact same way now - that over top all that appears is "Discuss → General" (nothing specific to the title/name in question; likewise there's no longer any available left-column navigation option that'll take you to anything else that pertains to the same movie, show, or celebrity). A particular movie's, show's, or person's list of created threads appear perfectly and normally, like always before, until you access a particular thread and then are ready to navigate out from it to whatever else. Entering a thread appears to be what now somehow changes the experience.
Incidentally, trying powering down my computer, then turning it back on, even logging out of TMDb, then back in, made no difference, when I checked.
Meanwhile, also tonight I did a minor (simply adjusted the topic heading) revision to one of my past movie threads, clicked on "Save", the thread immediately inexplicably locked, I at first could still see the thread listed, clicked on its title, though then got the response that it was private and could not be accessed (even though I hadn't even locked it - it somehow locked on its own). Then I went way down my personal Discussions history to early June 2017, which is when the thread was from, and it no longer appears listed there - either as locked nor otherwise. Now I'm afraid to chance editing any other of my past threads, as I wonder if doing so may result in them, likewise, locking and/or vanishing inexplicably.
At any rate, at present there are some issues with the message boards feature.
FYI: I just now checked, and all is still good, like normal/usual, with Content Issue threads; they still show either "Movie", "TV", or "People", plus a title or person's name, above the thread. Also the column to the left of the thread continues to show the same options as always before. As an example, here's the thread that presently is the newest one added to the Content Issues queue: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/61517-our-girl/discuss/5d4cd3561b72940012da8ac5

I'm pretty sure I know what is causing the change in the breadcrumb navigation. It's an unintended change related to a bunch of work that went live earlier today. I'll take a look at it tomorrow morning.
Thanks for the note.

Just wanting to report that I have a bit of an update to the mentioned situation:
A short time ago I created and successfully posted a starter thread on the empty board for the new BH90210 t.v. series. Then, just a minute or two later, it was yet another thread to wind up inexplicably locked - then to vanish, entirely, without a trace. Here's a Content Issues report I submitted about the issue, that I want to include the link for also here since the problem seems to probably somehow tie in with the problem originally described: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/89235-bh90210/discuss/5d4d421e3c887d001285d02b?language=en-US
Something I noticed was that the set-up of things was looking the usual "normal" way prior to the new thread locking and disappearing; over the new thread had appeared "Discuss → TV Shows → BH90210" after the new thread originally saved, and until immediately after I edited a couple of words, clicked on "Submit" - and the thread magically locked. Then things were immediately back to saying "Discuss → General" across the top, and "Back" (that goes solely to that General queue) being in the sidebar.
Travis, if there's any way you can retrieve and re-post my new BH90210 starter thread that evaporated, I'll appreciate it. Thanks.

Darn: I just now did a few edits to my Content Issues report at the link above, and also IT now has inexplicably vanished - after first it locked (even to my access)!
I'll not do any new threads-creating or editing until the current fluke is resolved, since I'm losing too much work (and don't yet know if any of it will prove retrievable).
By the way, there should be a good completed Content Issues thread at that final link, above, in the event that thread is still accessible to you. (Curiously, I can access that issues thread via the link above, but not via either my personal Discussions history queue or the Content Issues discussions area for the specific show in question, nor from the Content Issues queue of the Support forum. When I just now accessed the Content Issues thread via the link above, the thread internally shows as being UNlocked, which makes the situation seem all the stranger, since the thread is behaving - at least to me - as if locked and vanished/invisible.)

All has been back to good and normal with the message boards since at some point during yesterday. However my threads that got locked and then vanished continue to be missing. Will it be possible for them to be recovered?

Yes, sorry, I meant to reply to this yesterday. Everything should be back to normal. With regards to your private posts, yes, I can move those. I'm heading out for a few hours but will look at this later today when I find some time.

The hidden posts should be back, here's one for example: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/89235-bh90210/discuss/category/5047951f760ee3318900009a
I removed one, which was just a support post that seemed like a duplicate of this post.

Thank you very much, Travis.
There is also another thread, from 15 June 2017, that was the first thread to lock and then vanish the other night. The thread in question is (albeit presently invisibly) on the Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ (1925) message board: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/31510-ben-hur-a-tale-of-the-christ/discuss/category/5047951f760ee3318900009a?language=en-US
I recall the missing thread's title being something like "Gorgeous Carmel Myers in this film", and that it was the 2nd from the bottom of total 4 threads I created for that movie on 15 June 2017. The other night I adjusted a couple or so words of the text, clicked on Save, and the locking and disappearance somehow resulted.
If you're able to retrieve and repost also that thread, I'll greatly appreciate it.
