Hi there, Could a mod set posters for the shows below as primary? I'm an app developer using the API and a user of my app is asking why the posters aren't showing up, I upvoted them all but wanted to see if there's a faster way to get them marked as primary and returned as the poster path in the API.

Hello there!
I don't use the API at all - so this reply might be incorrect. But as far as I know does the setting of posters as primary have no effect on the API. There's a section in our Contribution Bible that explains why we can mark posters as primary:

If I understand it correctly, the only function of the setting is to override a better voted poster - nothing else. I can't imagine this has any effect on the API and how posters show up for your API users.
I'll keep this discussion open for other moderators/users to respond to you!

I agree, using the primary poster designation wouldn't really effect the API. The API caches data for 8 hours, so any changes made here on TMDB would not instantaneously change/update everywhere else.

Ah, how is the main poster set for the API?

If there isn't a primary poster set, I assume that it is whichever image is highest in the image ratings will be the main poster. I also assume it depends on which language you are pulling data from. I'm not too sure, I have no experience using the API.
