I think the following sentence in the contribution bible:
The only way to merge duplicates caused by a misspelling or an alternative spelling is to delete the with an alternative spelling (e.g. Miss Vivianne) and re-add them using the main spelling (e.g. Vivianne).
...should read as this instead:
The only way to merge duplicates caused by a misspelling or an alternative spelling is to delete the one with an alternative spelling (e.g. Miss Vivianne) and re-add them using the main spelling (e.g. Vivianne).
Right? Otherwise the sentence doesn't make (grammatical) sense?
Also, I have a question: does "the main spelling" refer to the spelling used in the most number of episodes' credits to credit an actor for a role? (this is what I'm currently using to do the cast credits of a show called, Eastsiders).

I fixed the sentence.
Yes, the main spelling is the one that most of the episode credit uses, since it takes less time to fix.
