You Bet Your Life is an American quiz show that aired on both radio and television. The original and best-known version was hosted by Groucho Marx of the Marx Brothers, with announcer and assistant George Fenneman. The show debuted on ABC Radio in October 1947, then moved to CBS Radio in September 1949 before making the transition to NBC-TV in October 1950. Because of its simple format, it was possible to broadcast the show simultaneously on the radio and on television. In 1960, the show was renamed The Groucho Show and ran a further year. Most episodes are in the public domain.

The play of the game, however, was secondary to the interplay between Groucho, the contestants, and occasionally Fenneman. The program was rerun into the 1970s, and later in syndication as The Best of Groucho. As such, it was the first game show to have its reruns syndicated.

In this two-part series, `The Fast Show' stars John Thomson and Simon Day go in search of the `free spirits' they once were, learning the ways of the gaucho, Argentina's cowboy.

Ed and Oucho's Excellent Inventions was a children's TV show, presented by Ed Petrie and his cactus companion, Oucho. Before this program Ed and Oucho were CBBC office presenters and favoured by many children.

The inventions in the show were created by Artem Ltd, a company that creates props and special effects for TV and film productions.

Transmission Impossible With Ed and Oucho was a CBBC show starring Ed Petrie and Oucho T. Cactus. Filmed at Pinewood Studios, it first aired on 16 May 2009 and was shown every Saturday morning on BBC Two and Sunday morning on the CBBC Channel for its run of 26 episodes. It was one of the 'Summer Replacement' shows filling in for the absence of TMi in 2009, along with Basil's Swap Shop.

The premise involved Ed and Oucho "hacking" into your television from their blimp, replacing The Krazey, Krazey, Krazey, Krazey, Krazey, Krazey, Krazey Show with Kaptain Krazey and Nigel Smith intended to be on air. Kaptain Krazey was a puppet pirate that only says "ooh aar" whilst Nigel Smith was Ed Petrie in a blonde wig.

Each Saturday episode, their blimp loses altitude, and one by one their four stowaways have to be pushed off. The stowaways play games, e.g. "Oucho's lossoli quiz", to determine who gets pushed off and whether or not they are awarded a parachute.

Transmission Impossible with Ed and Oucho ended on 9 August 2009 to allow Ed and Oucho to film Series 2 of Excellent Inventions.

Peter Crouch, Maya Jama and Alex Horne are live after all the big matches with their own unique take on the tournament, plus celebrity guests, players and highlights.

This film is a moving tribute to French filmmaker Jean Rouch. Pauwels, a former collaborator of Rouch, accompanies him on a trip to Japan. In this cinematic letter, which he himself calls “a journey into the memory”, Pauwels philosophises about the essence of cinema and, consequently, of life.

The first film in Jean Rouch's filmography is not his first film at all. It was edited by a French news company, using images he had shot but organised into a very different sequence from his own. On top of that, it was accompanied by a colonialist commentary said by a sports reporter! As we watch, Jean Rouch ad-libs a new commentary more in keeping with his images, and so, in 1991, he finally finishes his first film! - Dominique Dubosc
