Asylum is a British comedy series which was shown on Paramount Comedy Channel in 1996. Set in a mental asylum, it ran for one series of six episodes. Unlike traditional sitcoms or comedy television shows, it was to some extent an opportunity for stand-up routines by various comedians, mixed with an overall story involving much black humour. It is significant for involving a large number of British comedians, many who have gone on to work on some of the most successful comedy programmes of the last decade. It marked the first collaboration of Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson, who would go on to make cult sitcom Spaced. Many of the characters names were the same as those of the actors who portrayed them.

David Devant & His Spirit Wife were the "house band" for the series, performing segments in every episode, from their first album, Work, Lovelife, Miscellaneous. The lead-in track "Ginger" served as the programme's title music.

The series has yet to be released on DVD; however, the full episodes are viewable on Norman Lovett's website.

Metal Asylum is an American television program about heavy metal on Fuse. Hosted by Mistress Juliya, it served as a slightly more subtle incarnation of the popular Uranium and even coexisted with it under the same host. Metal Asylum traditionally ran a half hour, typically on a nightly basis at 11pm ET, and deemphasized band interviews in favor of simply playing music videos, largely of the heavy metal genre. The show's production ended in 2006 due to Chernetsky's departure from Fuse TV.

In Volume 1, Shaun T focuses on his passion: sports. As Shaun says, it’s all about the game—you’ve got to be in it to win it. Inspired by sports-specific training and exercises used by professional athletes, this 30-day series focuses on building speed, coordination, balance, agility, and power. The result? You’ll run faster, jump higher, hit harder, and WIN.

Shaun T says, “The work doesn’t start until you get tired,” and when you Push Play on Volume 2 you will know what that means.

Volume 1 taught you the fundamentals of sports performance, and now you’ll build on that foundation with training techniques used by professional athletes to separate them from the competition. Shaun challenges you with complex agility moves, progressive new strength moves, dynamic power exercises, and so much more.

And at the end of any game, everyone, even the pros, gets tired. But it’s what happens when you’re tired that separates the amateurs from the professionals. You need the highest level of mental and physical toughness to succeed. Each workout gets progressively more difficult, pushing you to maintain form and focus when you want to quit the most.

At the end of 30 days, you’ll have the endurance, stamina, and focus you need to win the game. That’s what Volume 2 is all about.
