In Răchiţele commune, it is said that whoever kisses you on Wool's Day, will be your life partner in a long and busy life. The Mad Bride is the story of three shepherd brothers who have long since married and desperately want to kiss a proud Woolen Day.

In the village Rachitele the legend says if you kiss a girl on the Wool Day she will be your wife. Three shepherds are willing to do anything possible in order to kiss somebody.

During the pandemic, Bică and Horică are tying to help their brother to kiss a girl according to the traditional festival for good luck. But the festival is cancelled due to the pandemic and things are getting more and more complicated when a French girl will do anything she can to prevent the brothers from helping him.

Duke Philippe de Nevers is an influential and popular man who is married to a beautiful wife called Aurore. His rival Philippe de Gonzague hates him enough to organise an attempt on him. The Duke is accompagnied by Henri de Lagardère when de Gonzague's henchmen altogether attack him. Lagardère cannot save his friend because the both of them are hopelessly outnumbered. He has to escape in order to save the Duke's daughter and swears revenge. Together with his old buddy Passepoil he raises the little girl in Spain. At the same time he returns frequently to France where he detects confronts his friend's murderers and puts them to the sword one by one until only their former leader is left. Finally he discovers that Philippe de Gonzague is the man for whom he is looking.

A hunchback working in a morgue falls in love with a sick woman. He goes berserk when she dies and seeks help from a scientist to bring her back from the dead.

Mrs Hardy is annoyed that her husband Oliver seems to spend more time with his friend Stanley than with her. After a furious argument, Mrs Hardy says that she is through if Ollie goes out with Stan again. Stan suggests that Ollie adopts a baby, which he does. The only Jarda knows that he will not change the world or himself. Aware of his weakness, he does not even try. In his mind, of course, his addiction to slot machines, which has led to a nearly impossible situation, is as certain as most gamblers' belief of an imminent win. The real and convincing attempt to rescue his family comes when it is too late. It is just a futile gesture, a desperate last ditch effort.
