The John Forsythe Show began as a situation comedy in the fall of 1965 on NBC, but at mid-season it switched to a spy show. In the first phase of the series, John Forsythe appeared as United States Air Force veteran John Foster, who inherited the private Foster School for Girls in San Francisco, California, from his late aunt, Victoria. Forsythe's co-stars were Elsa Lanchester as the principal, Miss Culver; Ann B. Davis, as the physical education teacher, Miss Wilson; and Guy Marks as Ed Robbins, Forsythe's aide and a former sergeant. Actors who portrayed students included Pamelyn Ferdin as Pamela, Darlene Carr as Kathy, Page and Brooke Forsythe as Marcia and Norma Jean, Peggy Lipton, as Joanna, Tracy Stratford as Susan, and Sara Ballantine as Janice.

NBC advertising in February, 1965, gave a working title of The Mr. and The Misses.

When the format changed to espionage, it was explained to viewers that Major Foster had been recalled to active duty as a secret agent. All the other regulars except Forsythe and Marks were dropped from the cast. Peter Kortner was the producer of the series, which aired twenty-nine episodes from September 13, 1965, to August 29, 1966. The series was produced by Forsythe's own company in conjunction with Universal Television Studios. Earl Bellamy was the director.

Cleopatra Jones is a 1973 American blaxploitation action comedy film directed by Jack Starrett and starring Tamara Dobson as special agent Cleopatra Jones. A sequel, Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold, appeared in 1975 with Dobson reprising the title role.

One-Armed Swordsman is a 1967 Hong Kong wuxia film produced by the Shaw Brothers Studio. Directed by Chang Cheh, it was the first of the new style of wuxia films emphasizing male anti-heroes, violent swordplay and heavy bloodletting. It was the first Hong Kong film to make HK$1 million at the local box office, propelling its star Jimmy Wang to super stardom. This film eventually became the first in the One-Armed Swordsman trilogy. A sequel was released in 1969 called Return of the One-Armed Swordsman, followed by The New One-Armed Swordsman in 1971, all directed by Chang Cheh. It has since achieved classic status in Hong Kong cinema. In the Hong Kong Film Award's 2005 poll, One-Armed Swordsman was voted as the 15th best Chinese language film. The first and second movies are the same director, writer, and stars, while the last has the same director but a new lead actor.

The Hunt for Eagle One is a 2006 direct-to-video war film. The story takes place during Operation Enduring Freedom in the Philippines. A group of U.S. Marines are sent to rescue a captured U.S. Marine Captain and a Filipino Major while tracking down a group of Al-Qaeda terrorists intent on launching biological weapons. The film was produced by the legendary B-movie producer Roger Corman. The Hunt for Eagle One stars Mark Dacascos, Theresa Randle, Rutger Hauer, Joe Suba and Zach McGowan. The sequel, The Hunt for Eagle One: Crash Point, featuring many of the same production crew and cast, came out on DVD, some months later.
