Lynda Carter didn’t have a skirt. She wore a strapless swimsuit with gogo boots.

Gal Gadot shows less skin. She has a skirt and over the knee high boots. Leave her be.

Black Widow finally gets her standalone movie and a woman, Jac Schaeffer, will write the screenplay. The producers (2) are both men.

A woman's breasts must show and a man's crotch must be as flat as possible. They want to make a real Ken doll out of HC. joy

BTW, the SM suit leaves too much to the imagination. blush

P.S. Keep up the drama, my peeps. grinning

When will they finish shooting MI6? TC had an accident again. Read here.

More superheroine films. I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it. LOL But first we have Captain Marvel.

LC didn’t have a shield, but she had a red cape.

I’m mean to the anatomically correct Ken doll and you love drama. Everybody has a weird habit. LOL

Captain Marvel is a woman? Well I'll be damned. Thus no Chris Evans 2.0.

This is why women can’t have nice things. LOL

Relax, girl. Women can have nice things. By learning from mistakes we can have nicer things. lol

HC altered his appearance. WW has the boobs, bootie and hourglass many women want. SM has the abs, arms and v-shaped back many men want. CGI, corset and padding are wrong. Overworking your heart in the gym and drinking a barrel of protein are fine.

HC altered his appearance, but SM isn’t marketed as beauty, brains and strength. And most guys go for the lean look, not the bodybuilder look HC is sporting.

You may find this WW review interesting.

Disability is evil and beauty is good. Weakness is evil and strength is good.

political morality has an aesthetic and a sexuality. Beauty, strength, goodness, bravery: These are your values, and here is how your values must look.

Be careful when you include beauty in the marketing campaign. Either leave it out or do not make the actress’s boobs and bootie bigger or smaller.

When I think overrated, I think Thor, Wonder Woman, and Star Wars.

I’m really disappointed in WW. Is it really a film made by women? All 5 writers were men and 8 of the 10 producers were men. I don’t see anything new or strong about the story or the character. It was made by men to please men.

Not this again. So many overate films, but WW always gets the most hate. The superhero genre is dominated by men. A female director is a huge step. A critically and financially successful superheroine film is a huge accomplishment. So who cares if men wrote it and produced it? They gave her a decent story, something they failed to give the male dominated BvS and JL.

I agree with everything you mentioned. The financial success of a superheroine film, directed by a woman, is very important. But I won’t let that blind me.

Cashmere already explained why you shouldn’t change GG’s physical appearance. I only want to add that the story sends mixed messages too.

  • The Amazons think very poorly of men, but WW falls in love with the first sausage she sees. Damn, a sausage is very hard to resist.
  • WW loved that sausage so much that she couldn’t love another one. She left the man's world. So old fashion. Women should only be with one man or can only love one man.
  • WW is smart in a woman’s world (Amazon), but she’s dumber than wood in a man’s world. Typical.
  • The man’s world is explained to WW by a man. What a shock.
  • WW starts working with a bunch of sausages again (JL) and of course there must be some sexual tension between her and one of them (BM).

If a sausage is so important and irresistible, then why all that Amazon taco fest crap? It must be hell in that Amazon.

The World War was something horrible. A different setting would have been better. WW2 will use the Cold War. The only problem is that SM can't be in it.

Taco fest joy

I don't like the Amazon story either. Men think they're superior than women, but they can't exist without women. Women can't exist without men either. The Amazons think men are evil. That's a stupid thing to do. Don't do unto others what you would not have done unto you.

Patty Jenkins will also write the treatment for WW 2 and the Snyders are the only ones listed as producers. Ugh, I thought WB fired the Snyders.

A film about Harley Quinn would have made you happier.

We know that other movies have been talked about as of late, but are not officially confirmed to be happening (which means there is still a possibility they might not), which include:

- Green Lantern Corps - being developed by David S. Goyer who confirmed it's still in the works
- Justice League Dark may be a possibility, but again nothing for sure
- Cyborg said to be still happening by Joe Morton
- Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam movie
- Daid Ayer's Gotham City Sirens
- Movies for Joker and Harley Quinn

I'm shocked that Black Adam and Harley Quinn are not confirmed to be happening.

Just adding some fuel to the fire. Oscar campaign for WW? stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes

The consensus this past June was that "Wonder Woman" was the first "good" film from the DCU. Ok, fine, that doesn't say much really. It seems WB might be, mightily, overreaching by pretty much implying that they believe "Wonder Woman" is Best Picture material. The backlash will no doubt happen because, well, "Wonder Woman" just isn't that good. I can list 30 films that were released this year that were better than Patty Jenkins' film. Hell, it's not even close to being the best superhero movie of the year. That honor goes to James Mangold's "Logan," which, in fact, does deserve a Best Picture nomination.
