While I personally like Ben’s take on Batman, I do like the thought of Jake Gyllenhaal being the cape crusader. But Jake seems to have a bad luck with playing big heroes. His Prince of Persia didn’t do very well. When he nearly replaced Toby Maguire as Spider-Man because Toby’s health wasn’t so great, Toby made a recovery so Jake didn’t get the Spidey role.
I know he may be too old, but Christian Bale is my fave Batman so I wouldn’t mind if he took the cape and mask and utility belt again.

I keep hearing that Affleck wants out, but I don't think he'll leave this very lucrative role.
