Alan Michael Ritchson (* 28. November 1982) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, Model und Sänger. Er ist bekannt für seine Modelkarriere sowie für seine Darstellungen des Superhelden Aquaman in „Smallville“ von The CW und von Thad Castle in „Blue Mountain State“ von Spike TV.

Ritchson spielte außerdem die Rolle des Gloss in „Die Tribute von Panem – Catching Fire“ aus dem Jahr 2013 und des Raphael in der Neuauflage der „Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles“ aus dem Jahr 2014.

Ritchson wurde in Grand Forks, North Dakota, als Sohn von Vickie (geb. 21. Juni 1958), einer Highschool-Lehrerin, und David Ritchson (geb. 5. Juni 1956), einem pensionierten Oberfeldwebel der US-Luftwaffe, geboren. Er ist der mittlere von drei Brüdern; Eric, der Älteste, und Brian, der Jüngste. Während seiner Kindheit zog seine Familie nach Rantoul, Illinois. Im Alter von 10 Jahren ließ sich Ritchsons Familie schließlich in Niceville, Florida, nieder. Er besuchte die Niceville High School und machte 2001 seinen Abschluss. In einem aufschlussreichen Interview mit dem indonesischen Magazin Da Man aus dem Jahr 2013 sagte er, er habe einmal ein volles Musikstipendium erhalten, sei aber überwältigt worden. Von 1999 bis 2003 besuchte er das Okaloosa Walton Community College (heute Northwest Florida State College) als Doppelstudent und schloss sein Studium mit einem AA-Abschluss ab. Er war Mitglied der Soundsations und Madrigal Singers der Fine Arts Division.

He is the middle of three brothers; Eric, the oldest, and Brian, the youngest. During his childhood, his family moved to Rantoul, Illinois. At age 10, Ritchson's family finally settled in Niceville, Florida. He attended Niceville High School and graduated in 2001. In a revealing 2013 interview with Indonesian magazine Da Man, he once obtained a full music scholarship but was overwhelmed. From 1999 to 2003, he attended as a dual-enrollment student and graduated with an AA degree at Okaloosa Walton Community College (now Northwest Florida State College). He was a member of Fine Arts Division's Soundsations and Madrigal Singers.
