Besides being a terrific actress from little kid onward, she definitely was one of the all-time great Hollywood beauties.

Yes, and quite the considerate humanitarian.
From a gifted child actress (and not annoying)
To lovely leading lady (very beautiful and also not annoying, as in Rebecca of Ivanho)
To romantic marriage-go-round celebrity (ahh, maybe a little annoying there),
But taken all in all, we remember her for her grace and charm and commendable charity work, even donating proceeds from her line of perfumes to good causes (anything but annoying).

Their up and down - and all over the place - relationship is, indeed, legendary in Hollywood history.
Liz got some great jewelry to show for it!

I wonder who could drink the most (Taylor according to accounts) part of the reason why Virginia Wolf is so interesting to watch because you get the feeling that you are watching an actual brawl between Burton and Taylor

I'd hate to be standing between the two of them when a fight would break out!
Btw, another thing Liz is known for is for seemingly, every other year, being about to die from something - then recovering just when you think she's soon to be a goner.
