Discuss Alfred Hitchcock

On the I Confess (1953 film) DVD's 21-minutes featurette Hitchcock's Confession: A Look at I Confess (2004), Hitchcock expert Bill Krohn quotes him as having said:

"Bad movies are photographs of people talking. A Hitchcock movie is a photograph of people thinking."

I like that. And it's so very true.

Good quote and not just for Hitchcock films. I also like this one from Alfred

"Some films are slices of life. Mine are slices of cake"

Have you seen the documentary about the making of the Hitchcock/Truffaut book ?

znex, I haven't seen the documentary you mentioned.
