"Ken Osmond, best known for his role as the troublemaker Eddie Haskell on the television comedy “Leave It to Beaver,” died on Monday morning. He was 76.

Sources tell Variety Osmond died at his Los Angeles home surrounded by family members. The cause of death is unknown."

Leave It to Beaver is a series I watched during childhood (by then it was in reruns), that, at this late date, I really only significantly remember the four characters who comprised the Cleaver family. I do recall what the Eddie Haskell character looked like, but not really what he was like.

gen , Eddie Haskell was a horrible person, I never understood why Wally stayed friends with him. I know it was supposed to be a lesson in tolerance & to feel compassion for someone who didn't have a great home life.
