Fabulous comic timing

Catherine O'Hara is such a great comic actress, a stand out in films from Beetlejuice to all of those Christopher Guest collaborations. She even manages to be consistently funny in more mainstream fare like Home Alone, and I am delighted that in the hilarious Schitt's Creek she has been granted a leading TV role worthy of her talents.
Has she ever appeared in a straight dramatic role? I am sure I am forgetting something but I only remember ever seeing her in comic roles, where she is such a force.

When she's gracing SCTV, Miss O'Hara bears an uncanny resemblance to Penny Singleton, by appearance, voice, mannerisms, persona, and, yes, remarkable comic timing.
Yes, she's that good in Comedy, and probably would be in Drama and Musicals, as Miss Singleton indeed sparkles.

I love her!!! Everything I've ever seen her in, she totally nails the humour in the most wonderful way!
