There are some funny scenes. The dialogue can be quick and witty, and just one remark can make you smile or even burst into laughter. 
"Fiona calls me duck face.".

This is definitely one of my fave films of the last 30 years. I enjoy the entire movie - especially everything about the day of Wedding #2!
Back in Feb. or March 2017, when we had the General Chat area on TMDb, I created a thread asking everyone to comment what movie you'd choose to live in for 24 hours, if you could rematerialize and fully interact with the characters and story lines/situations in one. Four Weddings and a Funeral was my choice.

Maybe we could start another one? We could use a movie at the beginning that might draw a lot of people? Nothing too obscure, but also nothing that has a lot of 'fanboys' so it won't go off the rails too soon!

I decided Pleasantville seems like a well-suited fit, as it's about being transported into the reality of an entertainment medium. Here's the thread I created there.
