Idina Menzel, who voiced Elsa in the animated movie "Frozen (2013)" and sang the Oscar- and Grammy Award-winning song "Let It Go (2013)" is playing the stepmother.
It'll be interesting to see how good this musical version of "Cinderella" will be.
Billy Porter is apparently playing The Fairy Godfather. Likely with much less élan than a young Damon Wayans
That routine hasn't aged well, to say the least of it. I was just watching Porter on TV, and he seems to be a very intelligent man.
Just rewatched your clip & OMG it's still hilarious.
Indeed it is, Brat. The clip hasn't aged poorly, so much as we spoiled beyond all comprehension moderns have gotten bored out of minds, so much so that we piss away our lives on the hunt for things to get offended over. I don't write this as a judgment of anyone else, mind you. I'm sure I've gotten worked up over s-it that wasn't in the least bit significant, at least once or twice over the past year
Maybe it has to do with when I was born (early 50s), so I do not get offended by everything? Don't get me wrong there is a lot of stuff out there that I find offensive (I won't list them here though), but at my age, I have learned to pick the battles that I think need fighting.

If it's significant to you, you should probably speak up about it.
Interestingly, Camila's history of making an anti-black remark or more online seems all but forgiven. I might sound like ol' Mongo Lloyd here, but if Camila were a dude who'd made anti-woman remarks online, her career would probably be over.

Seriously? It also looks like it might be a musical?

I tried watching this today. 30 minutes and the cheesiness was so high, I was like "I'm out!" and left running. 😳

Here's wishing Camila the best.
