... Excerpt from Disney Showcases Magical Look at ‘Snow White’:
Disney’s Snow White—a live-action musical reimagining of the classic 1937 film—is coming to theaters on March 21, 2025.
The film—which stars Rachel Zegler—invites audiences back into the magical world of Snow White with beloved songs and recognizable characters such as the Evil Queen and, of course, Dopey, Grumpy, Sneezy, Bashful, Happy, Sleepy and Doc.
... Excerpt from ‘Snow White’ First Look: Rachel Zegler and the Seven Dwarfs Join Forces in Disney’s Live-Action Movie:
Disney has unveiled a first look at the upcoming live-action remake of “Snow White.”
In a new image, Rachel Zegler is transformed into the iconic Disney Princess, surrounded by her Seven Dwarfs. As of today, the film, which was originally set to open on March 22, 2024, has been delayed to March 21, 2025.
Zegler stars as Snow White and Gal Gadot plays The Evil Queen. Ansu Kabia co-stars as the Huntsman and Andrew Burnap plays a new character named Jonathan. The Seven Dwarfs have been reimagined for the remake, and Zegler has said that this new iteration will not be as focused on the romantic subplot but instead will show Snow White become the leader her father encouraged her to be. The reimagined storyline and Zegler’s casting — she will be the first Latina to play Snow White — have generated some online criticism for veering from the source material.
The original film, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” was released in 1937 and was Disney’s first feature-length animated film. More than 85 years later, the cast and team behind the remake have promised an updated version of the classic fairy tale.

From what I have read, those PHOTOS HAVE BEEN DEBUNKED! Don't believe everything you read/see on the internet.

As mentioned in the post, these are photos of 'stand-in' extras. The Daily Mail made the mistake of not asking permission from Disney to publish these photos: they are not official photos from Disney. Furthermore they should have placed a caption under each photo stating that these were 'stand-in' extras, and not only say this in the article. Finally they should not have mentioned Rachel Zegler and other actors, without explicitly stating that they are not in the photos, but that these are all photos of'stand-in' extras.

Not much is known about the movie yet, but actress Rachel Zegler (Snow White) did say something last year at D23 Expo 2022.

I think Rachel Zegler was great in West Side Story, unlike her co-lead, f-ing Ansel Elgort. I mean he was so stiff in that and his singing inconsistent, it made me forget he was in Baby Driver. Rachel Zegler is a talent that needs to be put in the front more, and hopefully with competent people around her.

This movie will probably be delayed - originally scheduled for March 22, 2024 - due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Hopefully delayed long enough to cancel it for tax reasons before this bombs badly at the box office

Why will this "bomb badly"?
(And, for bonus points, tell us if it's possible to bomb well).

Well, it seems to me that if a movie does really badly at the box office, it has 'bombed well'. 😁😉

New image below & it has been pushed back (although I have never understood the use of the term 'pushed back', when it actually means 'pushed forward'!) to March 2025.

Pushed forward in time; pushed back in terms of priority/urgency/imminence, like pushing to a "back burner" to simmer after bringing to a boil on the front burner.
