If I didn't already know this was an Oliver Stone film...

... I would have guessed as much. I liked it and thought it was a well made film, but a typically left wing perspective concentrating on people having their feels hurt with almost no mention of the purpose and positive aspects of deep surveillance. Snowden hurt the reputation and standing of the United States even though they aren't and weren't doing much more than most if not all industrialized nations in terms of spying and surveillance.
