This is is how starlord is. Hes a comedic hero and makes for great entertainment. Stupid move but he was extremely angered and couldnt think straight. Ever heard the term cooler heads prevail?

I agree. I wanted him to die for the entire movie. He was such a cringeworthy clown of a character.

Really there been two guardians of the galaxy movies. And it took you this long to realize that Peter Quill is a overly emotional man who hides his insecurities through humor. Next your going to tell me that Bruce Wayne has issues with his parents dying. Or Peter Parker has Issues with his Uncle death. Peter is exactly the kind of person who would let his emotions get the best of him.

P.S. I don't think Star Lord could have done much to prevent Thanos from taking Gamora. Since at that point Thanos controlled reality itself.

Starlord's reactions were great during the movie and probably a highlight performance of mine. Pratt plays the jealous boyfriend great.

Honestly, that scene where he starts copying Thor's voice was amazing. Loved it.
