Quan Chi is mortal kombat.

Woops, shang chi*

Before there can be a third Spider-Man movie, there needs to be a new deal between Sony and Marvel.

Marvel does not actually have the rights to Spider-Man, they are borrowing him from Sony.

Most of the details of the deal are probably secret, but the stuff which is known publicly is that Marvel has the right to use Spider-Man in Avengers films and they get all the money, but for Spider-Man solo movies, Sony pays the production costs, the movie is distributed by Sony NOY Disney and Sony gets ALL the BO receipts. The only thing Marvel gets from Spider-Man solo movies is the money from merchandising, T-shirts, toys, etc.

In addition, because Sony gets all the BO from Spider-Man solo films, Marvel is contracted to include at least one Grade A character from the other MCU films, which is why Iron Man and Captain America are in Spider-Man Homecoming and Nick Fury is in Far From Home.

Also, the deal gives Sony the right to create a 'Spider-Verse' based on characters related to Spider-Man (such as Venom) and to use Spider-Man himself in animation, so we can expect sequels to Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse.

Moreover, this deal only gives Marvel the right to use Spider-Man in 5 movies, those movies are Civil War, Spider-Man Homecoming, Infinity War, Endgame and Spider-Man Far From Home. Before Marvel can use Spider-Man in a 6th movie, they will need to negotiate a new deal with Sony. So Far From Home may be the last Spider-Man MCU film for some time.

They just spent 11 years and 22 movies on the Infinity Stones, the stones are never going to appear in another MCU film, and will probably not even be mentioned again.

All Asians lookalike, yeah, I get it. Easy mistake to make.

I watched a mortal kombat video before writing this 😂

I think they can reappear but not as a central element, i don't see why they can't be reused by characters across the universe, but i agree with you that i don't want to see them together again

Beyonder doesn't need the Infinity Stones. He's already omnipotent.

I'm not seeing Galactus as a main saga villain. He's mainly an FF villain, and they can handle him just fine. There's usually no big fight with Galactus as mainly he just stands there and take hits, so he makes a boring Avengers villain, thus you rarely ever see him with the Avengers. Defeating him is always a cerebral thing.

The next small bad that the Avengers will likely go against is likely Kang the Conqueror, who had already been teased on Ant-Man and the Wasp when they showed Chronopolis in the background of the Quantum realm. I say, the ultimate Big Bad will be the Beyonder plus Doctor Doom eventually.

Tim Holland is hardly likely to be privy to the details of the current state of the negotiations between Disney and Sony. It is simply a fact that the current deal only allows for Spider-Man to appear in 5 MCU films and that to make a 6th one will require a new deal.

So who do you think will be the next Avengers villain and team? To be honest it's going to be hard to top Thanos.

Secret Wars will be the main event they'll eventually build up to again (after a couple of small bads), which is basically all the Marvel Heroes Vs all the Marvel Villains (refereed by the Beyonder). That will top Thanos. I think they'll probably start with a Young Avengers team with Cassie Lang and Kate Bishop among others, and may be led by Spider-Man (if Sony and Marvel can cut a deal for it). There may also be a main Avengers team, but I'm not really seeing it at the moment, as there are too little heroes for it at this time. I can see a Hulk and Doctor Strange team-up in the future though.

All the Marvel villains are dead so how will they clash with the superheroes in the secret wars? I'm not really seeing much of a clear vision for the future either in the comics or the big screen.

New and old villains. The Beyonder can just pluck them from all times in the multiverse (yeah he can do that). You may even see a return of Steve Rogers and Tony Stark just for it (though in the Secret Wars series Rhodes was Iron Man). The Beyonder is the ultimate macguffin.

Movies and comics are two different things, i think it will be too hard for screenwriters to handle such a powerful character. Just look how they writed out captain marvel from endgame during 90% of the movie because she was too powerful and they didn't know what to do with her. Even Thanos is incoherent at the end, like he can fight thor, cap and iron man without any stones and win but he gets nearly one shot by thor in infinity war with all the stones

They actually never "fight" the Beyonder in Secret Wars. He's only really a catalyst for it. As I said, he's a macguffin. Doctor Doom is really the bad guy in any Secret Wars. The ultimate attraction of Secret Wars is it's akin to a kid playing with all his action figures. Secret Wars was originally created to sell a toyline with all the Marvel Heroes and Villains for kids to play with. It would be a missed opportunity if Marvel decides not to exploit that again.
