Like Kingpin and Loki, Killmonger is well developed and has strong motivation. He definitely breaks Marvel's cycle of generic villains.

How is he well developed? He is in London, stealing an artifact. Then he appears in South-Korea to rescue Klaue. Then he turns, kills Klaue, appears in Wakanda and is a bad-ass kick-ass fighter able to defeat T'Chaka. He was barely in the movie before he suddenly was king of Wakanda.

I agree. Michael B. Jordan did a great job with his character. We could compassionate with him, and still realize the impossibility to rehabilitate him. We could see that he was so full of anger and hatred, that for revenge he was going to destroy everything including himself, and yet didn't seem dumb and illogical like many villains do. I liked that Marvel treated the character with dignity till the end.

Agreed, MBJ did a fantastic job playing him. Just wish we could have gotten a few more scenes with him

I rather stick with Loki. At least he has charisma. I would have liked it if they kept Andy Serkis alive. He was pretty much wasted in this film.

Pretty sure Kilmonger was in the movie from the very first scene on.
