When Mallory tells him their parents are dead, he seemed awfully happy, especially considering he looks to be around 8-10 years old. So, did his father abuse him as well as Mallory? Or was he just sick of his father's behavior and was just happy to not have to deal with it anymore? It could also be that he's happy that Mallory finally got revenge but how do we even know he knew that Mallory was getting sexually abused?
