El Joe i el Jerry són dos músics que es veuen obligats a fugir després de ser testimonis d'una carnisseria entre dues bandes rivals. Com que no troben feina i la màfia els persegueix, decideixen vestir-se de dones i tocar en una orquestra femenina.
