Discuss Some Like It Hot

What are your favourite films of 1959? This was a fantastic year, one of the very best, and another year in which there are several films it is very difficult to leave off!

  1. Some Like It Hot (Billy Wilder)
  2. The Human Condition I: No Greater Love (Masaki Kobayashi)
  3. Ballad of a Soldier (Grigori Chukhrai)
  4. Day of the Outlaw (Andre De Toth)
  5. The 400 Blows (Francois Truffaut)
  6. North by Northwest (Alfred Hitchcock)
  7. Rio Bravo (Howard Hawks)
  8. Hiroshima, mon amour (Alain Resnais)
  9. Anatomy of a Murder (Otto Preminger)
  10. Imitation of Life (Douglas Sirk)

Hi Brat

I was simply looking up each list I had created, copying the url from the top of the page and using the url/link icon from the top of the message to post it. If you want to list all entries for a decade, you just need to repeat the process. I stopped doing this because it was too much effort and reduced to simply posting a link to the previous (chronologically next) list, leaving a 'trail' of annual top tens. I hope this makes sense, please let me know if not!

  3. Anatomy of a Murder
  4. Some Like It Hot
  5. Hiroshima Mon Amour
  6. Room at the Top
  7. Plan 9 From Outer Space
  8. Sleeping Beauty

Just thought you should know there's no link to 1958. The link on 57 goes to 59.
