This certainly is one of the great feel-good "comfort food" movies of all times. It really touches the heart and is very well done.

The performances of Freddie Bartholomew and C. Aubrey Smith couldn't be more spot-on flawless. It's like those wonderful actors are Ceddie and his grandfather. What beautiful and touching performances.
