Overlord DVD's YouTube channel sports a number of Star Wars "leaks" which allegedly come from Disney insiders. Take that with a rather large grain of salt. But if you want to entertain what he's saying, then Disney is absolutely not done with Star Wars as a franchise, though they're very probably going to shift gears and try to earn back the fans' love for the mythos.

It's not only Doomcock who is saying that World Class bullshitters,Clownfish (which still has very close sources inside Disney),Geeks and Gamers,Robert Meyer Burnett and Midnight's Edge have over past 7-8 months been saying that according to their inside sources there were multiple cuts of TROS (6 probably)including one done under the supervision of George Lucas which actually got the best test-screenings score but because it wasn't to the liking of Kathleen Kennedy so we got the version we now know was released ,there is even talks about a J.J. extended 190 minutes cut of TROS. Fact is that 0n July 3rd there was a meeting at Disney with the big investors who demanded to have a look at what they had been hearing about the rumoured "Lucas Cut" and after watching that they were infuriated by the decisions of Kennedy who demanded an explanation from Kennedy which did not go well for her because after the meeting she wasn't seeen or heard from for two weeks and now sources claim that Kennedy is now put on non active they only don't announce this but she'll keep with Disney untill her contract expires next year .And they will probably announce that Kennedy will be heading her own independent production company but she will no longer be associated with Star Wars.

And before you question a site like Midnight's Edge then why are renowned directors,CEO's .actors actresses, producers and writers doing interviews with this Youtube site if they don't have any credibility these people wouldn't want to be associated with a vague and sensationalist Youtube channels.Recently they had a long interview with renowned actor Brad Dourif (One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest,The Eyes Of Laura Mars, Heaven's Gate,Ragtime,Dune,Blue Velvet,Mississippi Burning, the voice of Chucky, Babylon 5 ,Star Trek Voyager,Alien Ressurection,Nightwatch ,Urban Legend LOTR(Grima),the Deadwood series etc)and before they had Actress Heather Langenkamp (Nightmare On Elmstreet) former New Line CEO and founder Bob Shaye, former Hollywood writer Melissa Snodgrass (who apart from other TNG scripts wrote The Meassure Of A Man),Star Trek DS9 and VOY producer Bryan Fuller movie director Nicholas Meyer (who directed the best Star Trek movie The Wrath Of Khan and The Undiscovered Country)etc etc.

And didn't WB denythere was a Snyder cut of Justice League even though various of the previous Youtubers actually reported it's existence for more than year? And now under pressure of AT&T who owns WB they adnitted there was a Snyder Cut and Snyder is allowed to finish his version of Justice League to be released on HBO Max.Also the leaks they reported on TROS were pretty accurate so don't dismiss them .

One must wonder: Is anyone at The Mouse House tempering the company's hopes for the future, by uttering words to the effect of: "Bob, Kathy...We s-it the bed with the last Star Wars trilogy, worse than Amber Heard on Jack Sparrow's fresh sheets, right after she scarfed down a plate of enchiladas, then washed it down with a liter of prune juice. But how in God's name do you propose that we ERASE these movies, now that they've already been released? Even if we announce that they aren't canon, folks aren't going to simply forget that they exist, and copies won't stop circulating. Hell, The Star Wars Holiday Special is still easily available, despite decades of effort aimed towards burying that abomination!!!"

They will not openly announce it but with the new movies they will not reference the sequel trilogy or acknowledge it's existence or that those events actually happened for all intended purposes the sequels as far as Disney is concerned don't exist. They reference something from the Star Wars Rebels series called The Veil Of The Force as a means to kind of redact the sequel trilogy as something on another timeline or parallel universe.

Bob Shaye still leads the New Line devison at WB and Snodgrass now teaches scriptwriting .They also did an Interview with the actor who originally played Iched on Voyager, the actor cast who plays the new Pinhead, two Friday The 13th directors.Point I am making here is that all these people who work or have worked in the industry would not make out time for interviews in their sometimes busy schedules if they didn't took Midnight's Edge seriously .As far as TMZ goes that channel has become part of the PR machine of the studios more and more lately.

Well this week Disney will has the report the quarterly results and from what I heard it is bad really really bad so don't be surprised.

update:Disney looses 5 billion

You are the one who is crying here I gave you proof and explained why Disney's financial status is not so rocksteady as you think it is but hey ignore reality if you want but the fact remains that a) Disney needed to lend money and probably is going to lend more money if the current crisis last any longer b)Disney isn't making a lot of money on Disney+ something like 20-30 milion per months(million not billion).C) The theme parcs which are the biggest source of income are shut down or only serve at the minimum of capacity which makes them unprofitable and costs Disney tons of money D) thye don't have movies to release for in the cinema which they are not doing because cinema's only function at a minimum of viewrs because of the crisis making it very unprofitable to release movies which would normaly earn them bilions of dollars each yar.

You are the one who keeps crying only because I said Disney is extremely powerful and rich and can buy anything.

That's a fact. If you prefer to keep crying about this then that's your damn problem.

Fact remains Disney lost 5 billion this quarter and that they are forced to release Mulan on Disney+ to generate a source of income.

Fact is that Disney is super rich and they can buy everything they want.

Fact.

Yeah but they lost 18 billion on the parks alone in the first six months and why if Disney is so rich is there a back up plan that if the crisis last longer they are willing to sell their interests in Disneyland China?

Then why was Disney lending money if they are so wealthy .So far Disney lend almost 20 billion and most of the studios are in the red Viacom/CBS 21 billion and AT&T (which owns Time Warner ) 100 billion plus Disney paid far too much last year when buying Fox for 71 billion so Disney won't be having much reserves

They lost 20 billion and loaned 18 billion.

Disney is massively rich. They can buy virtually anything they want.

Cite your sources, Nex. I'm genuinely curious now

The 5-7 billion loan

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-disney-loan/disney-enters-5-billion-credit-agreement-idUSKCN21V26G

the 11 billion dollar loan;

https://variety.com/2020/biz/news/disney-debt-11-billion-raise-shanghai-1234604320/

Althought the later Variety article talks about a total of around 18 billion altogether (check diagram but it talks about a March 26th $1,3 billion loan .;a March 20th $6.0 billion loan and another $10.91 billion loan on May the 12th making $18.21 billion in total )

add to that the $20 billion you mentioned and Disney is almost $40 billion in the red (which is 5 times for what they paid for Marvel and Star Wars together and the year isn't over yet)

If I were in stocks I would go for Disney losing between $45-50 billion this year that is if things aren't getting any worse.

That's bad but... Disney is still massively rich and they can buy a country.

The same Shanghai that had to be closed again just like many of the parks that were barely open for a week?
