Things that make you go hmmmm for some reason the fan score has not changed from 86% no matter how many people vote, something doesnt seem quite right here.

Ok Goku, but the numbers dont lie or hate. Rise also made the lowest domestic and world wide of all the SW films, except Solo. So apparently not enough people loved it as much as you think and the ones who liked it are the minority here. Other wise it would have performed better. For comparison to understand how poorly this movie did: The Force Awakens pulled in a whopping $2.066 Billion from the box office and even the controversial Last Jedi grossed $1.3 billion. The box office is so low the only movie in the entire Kennedy-verse to gross less as of this writing is Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Listen Piccolo. The numbers don't lie and this movie is loved or liked by the vast majority and the haters are just a small minority.
This movie has still surpassed the 1 Billionmark and the main reason it hasn't got more is because Last Jedi was hated by a lot of people and ruined the series for them.

To base the popularity solely on how much a movie earns is rather poor evidence for the statement that TROS is popular the fact that it has one of the biggest drop offs of the big budget movies category could be interpreted as otherwise. Also the fact that it only made a mere billion compared to the 1.3 billion of the underperforming TLJ(which already is 800 million less than the TFA ) is indicative of how much people "liked" it and then decided that Star Wars not for them anymore and were no longer motivated to watch the films multiple times and buy the merchandise. So to boast the majority liked TROS is to forget that more than half of the original 2.1 billion net worth audience of the franchise around TFA has dropped to a mere one billion net worth audience which indicates that half of the people who were invested in Star Wars when TFA premiered are no longer interested anymore to even bother to watch TROS .One must also add that even though it earned 1 billion in ticket sales it also includes the people went to see it but didn't like it and from what I hear that with most people that they felt it was an okay movie after leaving the theatre but once they started thinking about it it all didn't make much sense and it felt contrived lazy and sloppy. So I would argue that more than half the fans didn't like TROS because half of them already weren't even bothered enough to go and watch it in the cinema add to that the people who were bothered enough to watch it in the cinema and didn't like it and one would probably conclude that the majority of Star Wars fans didn't love TROS.

No it is not when roughly half of the audience of TFA didn't even bother to go and see TROS.

KK probably has a black book with all the dark secrets of the powerful people in Hollywood which is probably why Spielberg has dropped out as director for Indiana Jones 5.
