Discuss Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Now that the Skywalker saga is done whats next for SW????

Are the studio suits gonna wait and see how much money TROS makes or tanks first???

With the popularity and success of Mandalorian I'd prefer something like that instead.

The toys still sell a lot.

And I have my point pretty clear because Star Wars movies make billions of dollars even with all backlash.

Trust me, Star Wars is gonna go nowhere. It's always gonna be n extremely popularity franchise.

Regardless of how the movies do, the Galaxy Edge park is doing great. Very crowded . I was just there, the droid toys are selling like hotcakes, with a LONG line just to assemble and purchase one (or more!). The two rides are popular. The new one is spectacular and the line for it is HUGE. If you don’t arrive super early, you can’t even sign in for a late evening slot just to GET IN LINE for it... and wait another hour to get through the line. It’s worth the wait, though.

I don’t believe Lucasfilms is involved directly with the park, which might explain the high quality and popularity.

Which theme park are you talking about the one in Orlando or California? The Disneyland in California lost a ton of money and Galaxy's Edge was an epic fail! This was the first year that Disneyland got its @$$ kicked by Universal Studios this summer!

Both coasts have had "less then stellar" attendance, MAINLY due to only one side of the land opening (the meat & potatoes is the new ride..which looks GREAT btw).

The main complaint, of course, is the complete LACK of classic characters...no Luke, NO Leia, No Vader, No Han...just the lame Disney War characters like Rey, Kylo & Finn....oh LOOK, there's Finn...quick, grab him for a pic...NOT! laughing

I went to Disneyworld, Hollywood Studios. Very crowded. Did see Boba Fett, Darth Vader there.

However, my dream is to see the Evil Queen one day. She is great ... at Disneyland. Rats, wrong coast.

That's very good to hear as well.

I believe the orlando one is better and bigger than our California one. I also heard that Orlando waited to see what we did wrong and made all mistakes on our side first so that they could learn form our mistakes.

But in all honesty I hope they don't mess up EPCOT! I heard they are going to give it a total make over?

Also TRON is coming in 2020!

I think a LEGO Star Wars trilogy will be next. crystal_ball

haha..Family Guy beat 'em to the punch!

Speaking of LEGO, did you hear Disney made them pull their Star Wars Lego displays at their theme parks? They were just miniature recreations of certain scenes from the (then) 20th Century Fox produced movies...f**kin' Disney!

Which kinda shows Disney is the ultimate evil in the entertainment industry. Also I wonder if Disney actually was entitled to do that since it all depends on what previous arrangements or deals FOX or Lucas film had made with LEGO.I remember that around the time of the prequel trilogy Fox/Lucas Film liscensened LEGO to make a Star Wars line of figurines and other products(one of the biggest(and most expensive) LEGO products ever released commercially was a giant Millennium Falcon)

They are going to make a new trilogy they already contracted these guys for the score to appeal to a broader ethnic demographic;
