I was in my late teens then, I could relate when the kids were taking the college entrance exam. Hard to believe over 35 years have passed.

I didn't realize the Megan Follows version of the Anne of Green Gables story was ever recut into a movie from the original t.v. miniseries. I watched the miniseries multiple times years back and thought it was wonderful and thoroughly charming. Megan Follows certainly was perfect in the role.

Martin Sheen played Matthew in 3 versions a few years ago. They were OK. Then there was the Netflix one. That one dealt with darker social issues.
