The "Music" genre should only be used for concerts, music documentaries and any films in which music is a key plot element. The "musical" keyword should be used for musical films.

I've seen the movie and it's a musical, not a movie about music. Since we don't have a musical genre, we use the keyword instead.

It IS about music though. It's about songwriting and Broadway. It's about a guy whose main occupation is working in musicals. People are seen playin instruments, creating and performing music, etc. even when it isn't a musical number. How does a movie like Koyaanisqatsi, which is not about music at all, get the Music tag, but this does not? It doesn't seem very consistent. I hate to be a bother but it seems absurd that this movie would not have a music genre. It seems like the perfect example of a movie that would have it.

I'll leave this topic open in case another moderator has seen it and wants to add a second opinion.

If you think the music genre is incorrectly added for Koyaanisqatsi, you should report that entry. It gets too complicated if we start discussing other movies in this topic.
